- Resolution 2025-27: Authorizing utility easements to the City of Jefferson and Jefferson Utilities to serve the Food and Beverage Innovation Campus on former county farmland. Motion moved by Supervisor Paulson and seconded by Supervisor Jackel; approved by voice vote, motion carried. County does not intend to seek payment for the easements.
- Resolution 2025-28: Accepting grant funds for Fair Park (goat pens) from the Copper Fund ($4,000) and Wisconsin Association of Fairs ($1,000); amending the 2025 Fair Park budget. Motion moved by Supervisor Jones and seconded by Supervisor Christiansen; roll-call vote recorded 28 yes, 0 no, 2 absent. Total pen cost $4,381; remaining funds to be used for fair-week expenses.
- Resolution 2025-29: Accepting an extension of the Department of Justice grant for deflecting court involvement due to school refusal (Human Services). Motion moved by Supervisor Jones and seconded by Supervisor Paulson; roll-call vote recorded 28 yes, 0 no, 2 absent. Original DOJ award accepted by the county on Dec. 12, 2023 was $63,243; 2024 reimbursements were $8,875.01.
- Resolution 2025-30: Accepting bids and authorizing roof replacement of the goat barn and portions of the sheep barn at Fair Park. Motion moved by Supervisor Jones and seconded by Supervisor Paulson; approved by voice vote. Lowest qualified bidder: CC Group LLC with a base bid of $89,250 and a recommended allowance of $20,000 for framing/contingencies, for an estimated project total of $109,250. The finance committee authorized using $30,000 originally reserved for a feasibility study toward this repair.
- Highway committee resolution: Authorizing the Highway Department to contract with Beyond Limestone for limestone crushing (lime rock) in 2025. Motion moved by Supervisor Jackel and seconded by Supervisor Paulson; one abstention noted (Supervisor Goldick) for potential conflict of interest; motion carried. Committee reported adequate funds in the highway budget.
- Resolution 2025-32: Authorizing the county administrator to contract with OCV LLC for a custom sheriff mobile application (three-year contract total $42,676). Motion moved by Supervisor Drainas and seconded by Supervisor Paulson; approved by voice vote. Funding is expected to come primarily from commissary fees; the contract was presented as a sole-source procurement compatible with the sheriff's internal systems.
- Ordinance 2025-4: Amending the official Jefferson County zoning map following Planning & Zoning Committee recommendations. Motion moved by Supervisor Paulson and seconded by Supervisor Kennard; approved by voice vote, motion carried. The committee found petitions consistent with the county comprehensive and farmland preservation plans.
