The Kuna City Planning and Zoning Commission recommended approval Tuesday of a combination preliminary/final plat that subdivides an existing commercial parcel (Paul Bunyan Plaza Lot 1) into two separate lots to accommodate a Mo'Bettah's restaurant and a Take 5 Oil Change facility.
Marina Lundy, planner for the City of Kuna, said the 0.96‑acre lot is already zoned C‑2 (area commercial). Applicant representative Jeff Lacks told the commission the subdivision would allow two standalone commercial users to develop independent building sites; a neighborhood meeting was held with no opposition.
The commission discussed landscaping and public‑facing design elements and noted that individual design review for each building would still require separate approvals. A motion to recommend approval of the combination plat (case number 25‑01‑CPF) passed unanimously by voice vote.
