Wallsburg schedules bid opening to hire engineer for CDBG-related projects

Driscoll explained the grant program requires the town to procure engineering services before specifying a project in the application. The town's capital improvements list (stormwater drainage master plan, park restrooms, the town's road priorities) will be used to help firms describe their qualifications. Driscoll said once a firm is selected after the opening, that firm would have roughly 10 days to assemble the grant application materials.
