The Cache County Open Space Advisory Committee convened Feb. 3 and, without recorded opposition, adopted the meeting agenda and approved minutes from recent meetings.
A committee member moved to adopt the agenda; a second was recorded and the chair called for the question. “All those in favor, say aye,” the chair said; several members responded “Aye” and no opposition was voiced. When minutes from the prior meetings were reviewed, a member said they had “not seen anything” and the committee adopted the minutes as prepared without objection.
The committee also reviewed and, without objection, adopted a proposed meeting schedule for the remainder of 2025. Members noted one scheduling detail: the September meeting is proposed for Sept. 8 because Sept. 1 is Labor Day, and a member asked staff to remove an erroneous period in the November entry. Staff reported they had submitted recommended names for a vacant committee seat but had not received further responses from prospective members.
Committee members were informed of a change in County Council assignments: Councilman Keegan Garrity will serve as the committee’s new council liaison following reassignments by the council. Staff said they will coordinate procedural outreach and legal review on items that require council briefing.
No formal roll‑call vote counts were recorded in the minutes for the agenda or minutes adoptions; actions were approved by voice and by unanimous consent where recorded.
