Daggett County municipal authority says bond, public hearing needed for clinic; right-of-way vacation to be reviewed

The presiding official apologized that the meeting agenda was not posted 24 hours in advance and said the lapse would be fixed going forward. “We we had some discussion in the commission and RDA meeting and realized that an agenda wasn't posted today, you know, 24 hours in advance for this meeting today, but we'll remedy that in the future. My apologies,” the presiding official said.
The matter of bond financing was the most substantive topic. Randy (role/title not specified) said he had spoken with Eric Johnson and engineers associated with Trevor about the financing. “I guess I did speak with, and got it squared away with Eric Johnson for the bond. They he got the information ultimately, from the engineers of Trevor that he needed to keep going forward. And, hopefully, within the next little while, we'll have a bond document. We will have to have a public hearing, for some portion of that earth to move that forward. I don't know whether it's when we'll have a Dutch John or virtually or however to get the word out to folks,” Randy said.
Randy and the presiding official discussed using the same bonding processes applied to the county's water and sewer plant for the clinic project, though no formal decision was recorded. The presiding official asked about whether the same bond adviser or firm would be used; Randy said that would be decided by the authority.
Members also raised a separate question about a right-of-way vacation connected to the clinic and whether it pertains to the Municipal Building Authority or the county. The presiding official said the authority would ask the county attorney, Ken, about the right-of-way in a subsequent meeting, noting the attorney was in court and would join when available. "If you'll help me remember to try to ask that question, I would appreciate it," the presiding official said.
No formal motions or votes were made during the short meeting. The presiding official adjourned the meeting by acclamation at 9:28 a.m.
