The policy committee voted informally to present changes to Policy 166 (Board Member Electronic Communications) to the full school board as a first reading, allowing the seven-member board and the public another opportunity to review revised language the committee had previously edited.
Superintendent Dr. Wimmer said the committee had already reviewed a redlined version and that the green text represented the proposed new language. "There was no feedback from that," he said, and the committee agreed to formalize the item as a first reading at the full board so members and the public can provide additional comment.
No substantive changes were made in committee at this meeting; the action is procedural to advance the proposed revision to the board for consideration and possible adoption.
