The Kuna City Planning and Zoning Commission on Feb. 25 voted to table three related Madrone Village subdivision cases — 24-08-AN, 24-05-S and 24-23-DR — to a date certain of March 11, 2025, after staff said a noticing error required further action.
Staff said the cases were placed on the Feb. 25 agenda to correct a public-noticing error. A Development Services Department staff member told the commission there was no packet for the meeting and that the item needed to be renoticed and set for a subsequent hearing. "There was a noticing error and in order to correct that we had to put it on the agenda," the staff member said.
The commission moved to table the three cases to March 11, 2025. The motion was seconded and carried with all members voting in favor.
Tabling preserves the commission's ability to consider the applications once the city completes the corrected public notice and provides the meeting packet. The staff member said the packet would be provided for the rescheduled meeting.
No public testimony was recorded on the item during the Feb. 25 meeting.
The action affects three related Madrone Village land-use items on the commission's docket and delays any formal decision on annexation, subdivision, or design-review elements tied to those case numbers until the March 11 hearing.
