Procurement manual: The board approved a modernized Monterey County Procurement Manual to replace an older 2008 document. County staff said the manual will be posted online, integrated into the county’s procurement training academy and will be kept current with an annual report; supervisors asked that substantial changes be returned to the board while routine edits be included in an annual update. Motion to adopt was made by Supervisor Alejo, seconded by Supervisor Church and approved by the board.
