Forrester worked in fitness instruction from 2004 to 2017 and in banking from 2017 to 2022 before joining the city in June 2022 in the streets division; staff said he was promoted to signal technician in July 2023.
Council and staff praised Forrester’s community involvement, noting volunteer participation in National Public Works Week activities, rodeo coordination, Arbor Days, Shred Day and the Euless Citizens Fire Academy alumni association. Forrester said he enjoys spending time outdoors, cooking and volunteering.
City staff presented Forrester with the employee-of-the-month recognition to be displayed in his department and noted he will be eligible for employee-of-the-year consideration.
The recognition was ceremonial; no council action or vote was recorded related to the award.
