Enterprise City Board approves routine consent agenda, textbooks and personnel actions

At the Feb. 25, 2025 meeting the Enterprise City Board of Education approved a package of routine business items presented on the consent agenda, including meeting minutes, financial reports, multiple vendor quotes, textbook adoptions, trip requests and personnel actions.

The board first approved the meeting agenda and then approved minutes from three earlier meetings (Jan. 17 special call, Jan. 28 regular, and Feb. 12 special call). The board approved the district’s December 2024 financial reports.

District leadership recommended several grouped procurement and operational items as consent agenda motions. The board approved maintenance quotes presented together; two technology quotes (an annual virus-protection renewal and a project for the Enterprise High School Performing Arts Center); and a state-approved science and CareerTech textbook adoption list, with the district noting it will purchase titles from Tier 1 or Tier 2 options once selections are finalized.

Other approved items included a transportation quote to purchase a new air compressor for the bus shop, in-state and out-of-state trip requests and an inflatable rental agreement presented as school consent items, and the personnel action list covering leaves, transfers, retirements, resignations and employment supplements.

Board members moved and seconded each recommendation and voted by voice/hand raise; no roll-call tallies or named dissent were recorded in the meeting transcript. The board also took time to acknowledge a board or district official leaving service and thanked long-serving employees during the personnel discussion.

The meeting packet said the next board meeting is scheduled for March 18 at 5 p.m.
