The Humboldt County Board of Supervisors approved several routine agenda items and scheduled hearings during the meeting, taking votes on bridge inspections, a liquor license renewal and the timing of a secondary roads budget amendment.
Supervisors authorized inspection services for three truss bridges (engineering/inspection contract) at a stated cost of $2,350. The motion passed following a first and second.
The board approved a renewal of a Class C liquor license with outdoor service and Sunday sales for Noble Country Club; the license was approved for the period April 20, 2024, to April 19, 2025, and the board recorded the motion and vote as carried.
Supervisors set a public hearing date of March 24 at 9 a.m. for Secondary Road Budget Amendment No. 1 and for a road-vacation matter described as a lane/field outlet; the board voted to publish the hearing notice and meet on that date to hear and act on the budget amendment and the road vacation. The board discussed publication timing requirements and selected March 24 to allow proper notice.
Board members also approved routine annual items such as bridge inspection scheduling and noted ongoing administrative and committee reports. No contested votes were recorded on these consent items at the meeting.
