The Del City Municipal Services Authority (DCMSA) approved several procurement and maintenance items at its meeting following council business.
DCMSA approved the purchase of 96-gallon polycarts at $65.96 each for a total of $24,009.44. The authority also approved an emergency sewer-line replacement at 3405 Delview to be performed by Urban Contractors, LLC for a cost not to exceed $13,250.
On water treatment, the DCMSA awarded RFP 2501 (total filter media replacement) to C & C Environmental Services for $70,000 pending legal approval; trustees were told work should begin within 10 days of approval. Separately, council/authority approved purchase of carbon filter media from Cabot North America, Inc. for an amount not to exceed $93,000; staff explained the replacement cycle is biennial with even- and odd-numbered filters staggered.
Vote tallies on the DCMSA motions were recorded as aye by Trustees Dean, Tatum, Brown, Finch and the chair where roll calls were recorded; the motions carried.
