Council members asked for clarification and staff confirmed the motion does not extend or otherwise alter the contract terms beyond authorizing the current-year payment.
The council recorded unanimous approval: Councilman Finch, Councilman Dean, Councilwoman Brown, Councilman Tatum and the mayor voted aye.
