Adams County commissioners on Feb. 25 voted 5-0 to continue VAC2024-2, a petition to vacate a portion of East 604th Avenue, to the April 8, 2025 agenda at the request of an adjacent property owner concerned about aggregate construction operations and proximity to Kiowa Creek.
Brian Maron, a planner with the Community and Economic Development Department, told the board that one adjacent property owner requested a 30-day continuance to review potential concerns related to aggregate construction operations near Kiowa Creek and that staff recommended continuing the case to April 8, 2025. No members of the public were present to speak on the item at the meeting.
A motion to continue the case to the April 8 agenda passed unanimously.
