A consultant from 6Code updated the Northern Nye County Hospital District on Feb. 20 about administrative work on the district’s HRSA grant and recent executive orders affecting grant administration.
Dylan of 6Code told trustees the office has been working to add an authorized official to the EHB system for HRSA oversight and to reconcile project expenses with the district’s project budget. "We're working on adding Dawn as an authorized official to the EHB system, for the HRSA grant," Dylan said, noting the change is to provide oversight and access to payment-management systems.
Dylan said recent executive orders have created additional HRSA communications but that he was not aware of any order that currently affects the district’s awarded grant. Trustees asked about invoice reconciliation; Andrea offered to continue reviewing invoices and Dylan requested pulling legal invoices to determine their applicability to the project versus other district services.
Why it matters: Proper administrative designation in HRSA systems and an accurate ledger of project-related expenses are required for grant compliance and for reimbursement to the district. Trustees directed staff to continue invoice review and to provide missing invoices noted by 6Code.
Provenance: Dylan’s presentation and follow-up discussion with staff about invoices are recorded in the agenda item for 6Code’s board update.
