The board voted to approve the January minutes "as written." Trustee motion to approve the minutes was seconded and passed unanimously with recorded votes, "Aye," and a final announced result of "passes three-zero."
The board then considered payment of three invoices presented in the packet and approved them by the same 3-0 vote. The district chair read the list in the packet and announced a total of $53,181.68 for the submitted bills. The packet identified invoices for REMSA, Sixto and an audit by Dan McArthur; the board approved payment "as listed." Trustees asked for clarification that some audit invoices dated from prior years were catch-up items.
Why it matters: Approving the audit and service invoices clears outstanding vendor bills the district and allows routine financial reconciliation with Nye County records. A trustee noted some county budget entries still reflect full-time employees that the district does not have and said the county records need to be corrected.
