Sierra Marrero, director of engineering and community development, told the commission the “city on the move” effort will relocate about 300 budgeted positions and their associated equipment, systems and furniture into recently completed and under-construction buildings, including a newly opened Public Works facility, the recently opened Fire Station 9 and a Sky Building that will house commission chambers, city clerk functions, utility billing and multiple administrative departments.
