Under the key-work agenda, the board approved revisions to the SEC employee handbook (part 3, section 1.05) to clarify expectations around late-start schedules and employee classifications. The minutes record that "Dave" made the motion and "Derek" seconded; the board approved the revision.
Before adjourning the open session, the board voted to convene a closed session under Wisconsin Statute §19.85(1)(c) to consider employment, promotions, compensation and performance evaluation data, including approval of resignations, retirements and appointments and quarterly superintendent goals and reviews. The motion to convene closed session was moved by Derek and seconded by Dave; the board voted to go into closed session.
All voted motions recorded in the public transcript carried. Where individual vote tallies were not specified in the public transcript, the minutes reflect the motions passed and staff will include formal roll-call details in the official minutes packet if required.
