Board members moved and seconded the consent resolution for items I through N; the roll-call vote recorded the following positions: Miss Zuckerman — Yes; Mr. Palma — Yes; Dr. Cortellino — Yes; Mr. Petruzzino — Yes; Mr. Rappaport — Yes; Mrs. Smith — Abstain on section I, Yes on remaining items; Mr. Daughtry — Yes; Dr. Modrak — Yes. The motion carried.
Board members discussed the SLEO appointment in section K7 and were told that, if approved, the retired officer would begin duties the following morning. The personnel section included a reported retirement: Sherilyn Teresa, a 25‑year district employee and fifth‑grade special‑education inclusion teacher at Woodmont Elementary School. The board read the retirement recognition and extended thanks for her service.
