The Senate Banking Committee convened a brief executive session at the start of its hearing and approved the committee's budget resolution by voice vote. A member moved to approve the committee's budget resolution "by voice vote if there's any if there's no discussion all in favor, say Aye...the ayes have it. The resolution is adopted and is hereby ordered reported to the full Senate," the transcript records.
The committee granted unanimous consent for staff to make technical and conforming changes and waived the relevant committee rule. The executive session was then adjourned and the committee proceeded to the public hearing.
The motion was adopted by voice vote; no roll call tally was recorded in the hearing transcript and no amendments were reported on the floor during the session.
