"Aligning all special commissions will allow a much more streamlined process with better accountability and tracking with no redundancy," Representative Darby said. The clerk recorded the vote as 18 ayes and 1 nay; the committee chair announced the bill will go to calendar and rules.
Representative Mark Martin presented the second calendar item as an addition to last year’s legislation addressing devices that flip or obscure license plates.
