Madera County commission approves voluntary demotion and several classification, overtime changes

The Madera County Civil Service Commission on Feb. 18 ratified a voluntary demotion request for an Auditor-Controller employee and approved several personnel classification and overtime-status changes proposed by county Human Resources.
Sabrina Mendez, a representative of the Department of Human Resources, told the commission that Elizabeth Cruz submitted a request for a voluntary demotion and presented the item for the commissioners’ review. “Miss Cruz did send us a request asking for a voluntary demotion, and so we’re bringing that before you for your review and consideration. She is present if you have any questions,” Mendez said.
