Why it matters: Council action clears the way for new commercial construction, utility oversizing that will serve city systems, and addition of a 100-foot monopole to improve mobile coverage. At the same meeting the council postponed final action on a separate land-sale/credit agreement tied to a west-side detention pond because members wanted more time to review a 108-page contract that arrived late.
