The introducer said both nominees were approved by the Senate Rules Committee on Jan. 29 by a 5–0 vote and asked colleagues for an “aye” vote.
Senate clerks completed a roll call and the clerk announced “Ayes 35, No 0,” confirming both appointments.
The confirmations were procedural and received no additional debate on the floor. No motions or amendments to the nominations were recorded during the proceeding.
The appointments now stand confirmed and will be recorded with the board.
