The case previously received a recommendation of denial from the Planning Commission.
Commissioner Taylor Watson moved to approve the RM-5 amendment with the applicant’s confirmation that the three-unit site plan would be submitted before council. Watson said she expected the applicant to present the engineered site plan to the Coliseum-Willow Park Neighborhood Association and the council member before the case goes to Council. The motion passed on a roll-call vote.
The commission’s recommendation sends the RM-5 rezoning to City Council. Commissioners reiterated that the applicant should meet with the neighborhood association and provide the final engineered site plan to the Council representative prior to the Council hearing.
