Yuba City — The Sutter Butte Flood Control Agency elected its leadership for the coming year and approved routine business items at the agency’s Feb. 12 meeting.
Directors nominated and elected Mark Boomgarden as the agency’s chair in a voice vote; no roll-call vote was recorded and the chair’s election was approved unanimously. Jeff Stevens nominated Mike Ziegenmeyer for vice chair; the nomination received a second and the board approved Ziegenmeyer by unanimous voice vote.
The board then approved the consent calendar by voice vote. Director Schmidl made the motion to approve the consent calendar, with Director Stevens providing the second; the consent calendar was adopted unanimously.
The board adjourned and set its next meeting for March 12, 2025.
