Council actions at-a-glance: consent agenda, payment for Idaho Power refund, payment processor and shuttle support
Summary
At the Feb. 11 council meeting McCall officials approved the consent agenda, directed payment to Valley County for an Idaho Power tax-judgment refund, authorized a payment-processor agreement for the new recreation platform, and authorized a letter of support for a Brundage Mountain bike shuttle program.
In addition to the two items detailed elsewhere (the Marina lease assignment and the local-option sales tax ordinance), the McCall City Council took several shorter actions during the Feb. 11 meeting:
- Consent agenda: Council approved the consent agenda as submitted and authorized the mayor to sign all necessary documents. Roll call on the consent agenda recorded affirmative votes from the members present.
- Idaho Power refund: Council directed the city treasurer to pay Valley County $10,604.83 to cover the city's portion of taxes and interest associated with a court judgment in favor of Idaho Power (Valley County will credit Idaho Power's 2025 tax bill). The payment amount was calculated from county-provided figures and approved by council.
- Payment processing agreement (recreation): Council approved a payment-processing agreement with CSG (Forte Payments) as the payment processor for the CivicPlus recreation-management platform (fees will be passed through to customers; the city is not expected to absorb the processing charges). Staff authorized the mayor to sign necessary documents.
- Brundage Mountain bike shuttle: Council authorized the mayor to send a letter of support, drafted by staff, for a mountain-bike shuttle program operating between the West Face parking lot and the Brundage base area. Staff will finalize wording to emphasize city support for recreation, multimodal options and connectivity.
Other items: The ADA Transition Plan annual progress report was presented and discussed; staff described completed sidewalk and pedestrian projects as well as upcoming ADA work to be integrated into FY26 budget planning. The council scheduled follow-up land-use hearings and noted upcoming dates for community and water-quality briefings.
