The San Antonio Planning Commission approved its consent agenda and minutes at its Feb. 12 meeting.
Commissioner Prophet moved to approve the consent agenda and Commissioner Siegel seconded. The commission then conducted a roll-call vote; the meeting record shows the following commissioners voting yes: Commissioner Prophet, Commissioner Siegel, Commissioner Garcia, Commissioner DeSueck (identified in roll call as Dasuki), Commissioner Lopez, Commissioner Lett, Commissioner Orian and Chair Peck. The meeting recorder stated, "Motion passes for approval." Commissioner Bustamante had recused himself from item 2 and temporarily left the meeting prior to the vote and reentered afterward.
Later in the meeting, Commissioner Siegel moved and Commissioner Prophet seconded to approve the minutes as written; the motion carried on a voice vote with commissioners responding "Aye." The meeting did not record separate debate or amendments to either motion.
The director's report noted that open seats on the planning commission will be considered at the Feb. 17 governance meeting and that applicants who reapplied have been asked to attend. A staff member identified in the record as Melissa told commissioners that applicants unable to attend may provide a letter to the clerk's office.
No additional formal actions on individual development cases were taken outside the consent agenda during the Feb. 12 session.
