Curriculum documents: The board approved K–6 arts education and math curriculum documents. District staff explained the district is updating many curriculum documents — some have not been revised for 15 years — and that course adoptions and curricular updates follow established committee review, CCAP recommendations and public-review processes. Board members asked about where to find both public-facing competency documents and teacher-facing instructional resources; staff said adopted and supplemental resources and curriculum documents are posted on the Teaching & Learning section of the district website and that teacher-facing materials are available at school sites.
