The resident said they called 911 and that an officer identified as Officer Seale responded; the resident reported the animals ran off before the officer approached.
The resident said the dogs appeared dangerous and expressed concern that the animals could have attacked a family member who would have been walking outside minutes earlier. The resident asked the board to add the issue to a work session agenda; the board agreed to do so.
Board members did not take formal enforcement action at the Feb. 11 meeting. They directed staff to include the item on the next work session agenda so the council can review complaints, existing animal‑control procedures and possible next steps.
