Kenai Peninsula Borough plat committee approves three grouped plats, postpones Bayview replat

The Kenai Peninsula Borough Plat Committee on Feb. 10, 2025, unanimously approved its consent agenda, adopting the Jan. 27, 2025, meeting minutes and three grouped plats: Barber Heights; Sterling Vista Subdivision roster replat; and Whiskey Gulch Beach Subdivision. The committee also postponed consideration of the Bayview Subdivision Lighthouse Village replat to the committee's Feb. 24, 2025, meeting at the request of the surveyor.
Committee business opened with a roll call; a quorum was present. The clerk read the consent agenda items into the record, which consisted of the 01/27/2025 plat committee meeting minutes and the three grouped plats listed above. A member moved to approve the agenda, minutes and grouped plats “and staff recommendations and compliance to borough code, incorporating by reference staff reports and staff recommendations.” A second was heard; the presiding member asked for unanimous consent and, hearing no objections, declared the motion passed.
A planning staff member said the Bayview Subdivision Lighthouse Village replat "was postponed at the request of the surveyor ... until the next planning committee meeting of 02/24/2025. If there is anyone wishing to speak on the item, they may do so, but there will be no decision made at this item on this item." No members of the public spoke on any item during the meeting.
The committee adjourned after completing the consent agenda. A planning commission meeting was announced to begin at 7:30 p.m.
