A resident noted the park’s heavy daytime use by library families and encouraged amenities that serve toddlers, tweens and caregivers.
Subcommittee membership: The commission appointed Chair Mike Hornbrook and Commissioner Burr to serve on the Zelensky Park subcommittee and asked staff to coordinate initial outreach and to return options and community input for the commission’s review.
Next steps: Staff will coordinate a feasibility study and public outreach; the subcommittee will report back to the commission with draft recommendations for any design work, funding options and next steps for Town Council consideration.
