Council approves replat to merge lots at 1908 South Hampton Road for Roll K Greenhouse development

The Glenn Heights City Council voted 6-0 on Feb. 7 to approve Replat RP-01-25, a request to replat and combine an 11.4832-acre tract at 1908 South Hampton Road that includes Lot 1, Block A, Rolke Greenhouse addition and adjacent parcels.
Director of Planning and Development Parviz Porozizian told council this was the fourth time related actions had come forward for the property: earlier rezonings and a prior replat combined two lots and rezoned a highlighted area from residential to commercial. The current replat merges the remaining parcels, including land where a family center or senior center is proposed, into a single lot to accommodate the project.
Porozizian said truck access and customer parking would remain configured so that heavy vehicles would continue to use Hampton Road and customer parking would be located on the smaller portion of the site.
Council voted unanimously to approve the replat. There were no amendments recorded.
