The San Antonio Zoning Commission voted unanimously to approve three consent rezonings — items 7, 9 and 10 — and directed staff to forward the cases to City Council.
The items approved were: a change from MF-33 to Office-1.5 for property at 825 E. Basse Road (item 7); a change from MF-33 to C2NA CD with a conditional use for an office/warehouse flex space near the 4400 block of Blue Mill Road (item 9); and a change from I-2 to L for property at 3935 North Pan Am Expressway (item 10). Staff reported notices sent and response counts for each case: item 7 (14 notices, 4 in favor, 0 opposed), item 9 (18 notices, 1 in favor, 0 opposed), and item 10 (15 notices, 0 in favor, 0 opposed). The commission recorded no public comment on those three items.
Commissioner Taylor Watson moved to approve the three consent items; Commissioner Marco Barros seconded. The roll call vote was recorded and the motion passed. The cases will now proceed to City Council for final consideration.
The commission chair, Rob Sipes, read the items into the record and closed the discussion with a roll-call vote. The action is procedural: the Zoning Commission issues recommendations to City Council, which holds final decision-making authority.
