Assembly approves promotion of Rebecca Regula to borough clerk and human resources director

The Petersburg Borough Assembly on Feb. 3 approved the managers request to promote Rebecca (Becky) Regula to the position of borough Clerk and Human Resources Director effective April 1, 2025, at an annual base salary of $85,000.
Manager Giesbrecht said Clerk Thompson is retiring with a last day of April 30; if Regula is promoted the manager intends to advertise for the human resources officer/deputy clerk position at an annual base salary of $65,000 to begin April 1. The motion passed on a roll call vote and the assembly congratulated Regula and thanked outgoing Clerk Thompson for continued service.
Staff will post the deputy clerk/human resources officer vacancy and proceed with onboarding and transition steps in April.
