The motion placed Frances in the liaison role through August and named Michelle to serve as liaison for the remainder of the calendar year; the motion was seconded and approved.
Board members confirmed the Friends meetings generally meet about every other month, often at midday on the third Wednesday, and that the liaison attends to observe the Friends’ bookstore and fundraising activity. The board asked staff to record the appointment so it is reflected in meeting records and communications.
