Planning commission actions: consent agenda adopted; Rosebrook rezoning and revised OSRD plan recommended to Board

At its Feb. 10 meeting the Brentwood Planning Commission adopted the consent agenda, forwarded a rezoning ordinance (Ordinance 2025-03) to the Board of Commissioners, and recommended approval of a revised Rosebrook South OSRD development plan; it also approved the senior report as published.
The Brentwood Planning Commission took several formal actions at its Feb. 10 meeting.
The commission adopted the consent agenda as presented. Items on the consent agenda included a revised hillside protection site plan for Brentwood Hills Subdivision (BPC 24-11-001), a revised final plat for Concord Forest Subdivision Section 2 (BPC 25-01-002), and a minor site plan alteration at the Sonic Drive-In (BPC 25-01-005). Commissioner Travis moved approval of the consent agenda and Commissioner Behn seconded; the commission voted “all in favor.”
The commission voted to forward a recommendation of approval to the Board of Commissioners for Ordinance 2025-03, which would rezone 0.41 acres in Rosebrook South from OSRD to R2. Commissioner Kaplan moved and Commissioner Pippen seconded that motion; commissioners voted “all in favor.” The planning commission noted the applicant will submit a revised OSRD development plan to reflect the change.
The commission voted to approve and forward a recommendation for the revised OSRD development plan for Rosebrook South (BPC 25-01-008), reflecting the rezoning and other updates. Commissioner Pippen moved approval and Commissioner Lundgren seconded; commissioners voted “all in favor.” The revised plan documents a reduction in total project area from 69.69 acres to 69.28 acres, an increased Split Log Road right-of-way dedication (0.47 acres to 0.82 acres), reduced excess open space (16.6 acres to 16.08 acres), the demolition of the Sedano house, and the identification of the Orton (Orton) Cemetery (0.04 acres) that will be preserved with access and fencing to be detailed in the applicant’s preliminary plan.
The commission also approved the senior report for January as published in the meeting packet. Commissioner Kaplan moved approval and Commissioner Pippen seconded; the motion passed.
