Hermosa Beach City School District board approves budget, facilities orders and employment contract; closed‑session resignation agreement reported

At a Dec. 11 public meeting, the Hermosa Beach City School District Governing Board reported one closed‑session action and approved multiple routine financial, procurement and personnel items to keep district operations on schedule.

In closed session the board approved a resignation agreement with a certificated employee that provides for resignation, a release of claims and a lump‑sum severance payment; the board said a written agreement is available for public inspection on request. The board then returned to open session and took several votes to certify budgets and authorize purchases and contracts.
