Ada County commissioners approve bid award, ARPA subaward and routine items; table Coppins Creek subdivision to Jan. 7

The Ada County Board of Commissioners approved a series of routine and substantive actions during its Dec. 31 open business meeting, including awarding a construction bid, approving two resolutions (one involving ARPA funds), and tabling a subdivision item until Jan. 7, 2025.

The board voted to accept the procurement evaluation committee's recommendation and award bid 25011 to Lacey Mechanical Inc. for the GLCCU North domestic water re-pipe project in the amount of $228,150.

The board approved Resolution No. 3057, which grants information-technology items and furniture to various county coroner offices. The board also approved an ARPA-related resolution (listed as resolution 3058 on the agenda) to transfer allowable ARPA expenditures and to subaward $600,351.55 to Allenbaugh House for behavioral services and building repairs.

The board tabled the Coppins Creek Subdivision development agreement to the Jan. 7, 2025 open business meeting at staff and legal request so the development agreement can be prepared and executed for consideration.

Other routine items approved on the consent-style portion of the agenda included catering permits and alcohol license transfers as listed on the agenda; the claims journal dated Dec. 31, 2024; personnel actions and a promotion list; approval of minutes identified on the agenda; acceptance of 11 agreements reviewed by staff; and recommendations from indigent services dated Dec. 31, 2024.

The board took identical procedural actions while sitting as the Ada County Emergency Medical Services District: it removed a planned legal-staff executive session from the EMS daily agenda, approved the EMS claims journal dated Dec. 31, 2024, approved a personnel promotion, and approved EMS minutes for the identified dates.
