Committee members described Policy 815.1 as a new district policy that will be accompanied by administrative regulations to guide classroom and administrative use. The policy was moved to a 30‑day public review period so administrators can finalize regulatory guidance.
Policy 234 was revised to align with recent federal guidance and Title IX‑related updates; the committee said language was adjusted to reflect changes that came down from “the legislative or legal” guidance earlier in the year. That item was also advanced to the 30‑day review.
The committee’s update to the full board noted the items are on the standard policy review track; additional public comment and administrative regulations will be posted during the 30‑day review window before the board considers final adoption.
