Board approves minutes and bundles resolutions; two matters taken to executive session and decided there
Summary
At the Dec. 10 meetings the board approved the November committee minutes and approved a bundle of special-meeting resolutions; two resolutions were deferred to executive session for personnel/legal discussion and were later considered and approved in that closed session.
During the Equity and Student Achievement Committee of the Whole on Dec. 10, the board moved to accept the Nov. 12, 2024 ESA Committee minutes. Commissioner Malloy moved the motion and Commissioner Santiago seconded; the committee recorded ayes and the minutes were approved.
At the special meeting portion of the evening the board considered a bundle of resolutions numbered 368 through 376. The board initially moved to consider all items together but, after a request to address sensitive personnel or legal matters in closed session, deferred resolutions 369 and 370 to executive session.
