Board approves year‑start budget transfers, administrator procedures and advertising for HVAC bids; SRO MOU noted for separate discussion

Richmond Community Schools trustees voted on a slate of routine but legally required financial and administrative items during their Jan. 20 business meeting, approving donations, several appropriation transfers and procedural resolutions, and authorizing solicitation of bids for HVAC work.

The board approved consent and action items 6.01 through 6.09 (see “Votes at a glance” below) by recorded voice votes, with most measures passing unanimously (7–0). The agenda included: acceptance of donations; three appropriation transfer resolutions (labeled Resolution 2501‑1, 2501‑2 and 2501‑3); a resolution authorizing payments prior to board approval (Resolution 2501‑4); annual conflict‑of‑interest filings; adoption of the 2025 IRS mileage rate; authorization to advertise master HVAC bids; and renewal of an annual consulting agreement (TVRI).
