Representatives from the Nevada County Arts Council and the Grass Valley–Nevada City Cultural District presented an overview of local arts programming, economic-impact research and grant-making activity to the Grass Valley City Council during the meeting.
"My name is Gianna Arbex and I'm the program manager for the Grass Valley Nevada City Cultural District," Arbex said, introducing the council to the district’s role. Communications Manager Kyle Winters said the council is an umbrella organization that works with the California Arts Council and partners with municipalities, the chamber of commerce and downtown associations to advocate for and sustain arts and culture across Nevada County.
