Chester introduced executive chef Daniel and general manager Rodrigo and said the team is hiring and intends to provide casual outdoor dining on Main Street. Chester said the applicant is hosting a community fundraising event that evening and expects to open as soon as state approval is received.
Patrick (town staff) confirmed the application was complete and the applicant had submitted the documents needed for state licensing and local approval.
Trustees welcomed the investment in Main Street. "Thanks for continuing to invest in Carbondale," one trustee said after the vote.
Action taken: board authorized the town to issue the local license upon state approval.
