The Parks and Recreation Commission elected Stacy Bass as chair and Commissioner Boggs as vice chair and approved routine meeting business during its December meeting.
Nominations opened for the 2025 chair and vice chair positions. Commissioner Muñoz nominated Stacy Bass for chair; a second was recorded and the motion passed, with the chair announcing, “And that passes.” The commission then nominated Commissioner Boggs for vice chair, recorded a second and voted to approve that appointment.
The commission approved the special meeting minutes of Oct. 15, 2024, and the regular meeting minutes of Nov. 12, 2024, after a short question from a commissioner about a Skyline Trail access bridge and a staff clarification that the project’s CIP entry is “fully inclusive of all items.”
On the consent calendar the panel approved item 6.1, developer impact fee fund balance and bond repayment for October 2024. The chair described the consent calendar procedure and asked whether anyone wished to pull an item; no requests were made before the commission voted to approve the calendar.
