The grant covers 60% of the wages and benefits for a Flint officer assigned to the multi-agency auto-theft task force; the city will pay the remaining 40% from the general fund, Chief Green said during the meeting. “This is a grant that pays 60% of Flint City officers' wages and benefits to be part of [GAIN],” Chief Green said.
