The Fishers City Council on Dec. 16 elected new leadership for 2025, voting to make Pete Peterson council president and John DeLucia vice president.

An outgoing council president opened the nominations and moved to nominate Peterson as president and DeLucia as vice president. The nomination was seconded by Councilor Tiffany Detlufsen. Councilors voted by voice; the motion carried without recorded opposition.

The outgoing president thanked council members and wished colleagues well for the holiday season before adjourning the meeting.
