The Town of Selma Special Recreation Advisory Board reviewed proposed edits to the town park ordinance on Jan. 24 and voted to forward the amendments to the town council for consideration.

The presenter described edits using color coding: changes in red were the first-round edits and blue showed adjustments from the prior session. The board said it received no further written feedback before the meeting.

One board member moved to forward the proposed amendments to council; another member seconded. The board voted in favor and the motion passed by voice vote.

Staff noted the amendments will still need review by town counsel and the planning department before council action. The advisory board’s action was a recommendation to council rather than final adoption.
