Cole County commissioners approved two routine maintenance and services contracts at their Jan. 28 meeting: an $11,790 contract for after-hours cleaning at the new EMS building and a $2,000-year maintenance contract for sheriff’s department overhead garage doors.
County staff said the EMS building cleaning contract (contract 2024-22) was awarded last week to After Hour Building Maintenance for $11,790 and needed commission signature. A motion to sign the contract was made, seconded and the commission voted aye. Commissioners then approved a $2,000 maintenance contract with Overhead Door Company to service the sheriff’s department garage doors; Public Works staff and maintenance staff indicated departmental approval.
Votes at a glance: motion to sign EMS cleaning contract (approved); motion to sign overhead-door maintenance contract (approved).
Ending: Staff will complete execution of contracts and proceed with contracted services under standard county procurement procedures.
