Clear Creek County commissioners unanimously certify 29 local mill levies

She said 29 organizations and districts across the county are included in the packet, though not every entity certifies levies every year.
The certification completes the county's obligation for fiscal year 2025 and the levy application for the 2024 collection year, Schoch said, and must be filed with the Department of Local Affairs by Dec. 22. Commissioners made a procedural motion to approve the resolution and voted in favor without further discussion.
The action formalizes levy amounts already reflected in the county's budget process and allows county staff to transmit final levy information to state agencies for tax collection and school financing purposes.
